Neil Smith Wins Worthington Masters Regional Final

Sussex and Roffey star Neil Smith won the South-East Regional Final of the Worthington Masters held at Three Bridges Football Club on Sunday 28th October, beating  PDC player Martin Burchell 2-1 in the final. On route to the final Smith beat Keith Jackson from Sheerness and Horley Sports & Social Club pair Glen Davies and Mark Diment. Burchell beat Tim Robinson from Tonbridge and Lee Dalley from Merstham Village Club. Both Smith and Burchell hit 180s in their semi-final ties and both go through to the Finals night at Lindford Sports & Social Club in Bordon, Hampshire on Thursday 29th November. Both players will get to play 13 times World champion Phil Taylor on the night. A "twisted" flying pairs competition was run following the event with Lee Dalley and Dave Thompson (Sheerness) beating Martin Burchell and Mick Sykes in the final 2-0.
