Knockout Cup Semi-Finals (23rd March 2009) by Dave Miles
Alan WyattThe league held its Semi-Finals of the Jack Tofts Knockout Cup at the Star in Roffey featuring from the A Division, both Broadbridge Heath Village Centres two sides, The Stout House, and the sole B Division side left in, the Plough from Lower Beeding. The two Village centre sides were kept apart in the draw, with the A's facing the Stout House, and the B's playing the Plough. Alan Wyatt (pictured) and Nigel Panton's 120, & 100 finishes respectably proved to be too much for the Stout House, as the BBHVC cruised through to the final winning 5-2. In the Final to be held late April, they will face fellow stable mates BBHVC B. The B's found the going even easier, going through 6-1, thus ending the Plough's gallant effort in reaching the Semi stage.
