Events kicked off with the final of the Knockout Cup in which Labour Reds took on the holders and newly crowned 'A' Division champions The Swan. After four games the scoreline stood at 2-2 with wins for Graham Brook and Will Bolton for The Swan and Martin Burchell and Ty Coward for the Reds. Paul Chesworth checked out on 114 in his defeat against Coward while Coward hit the night's first maximum. The holders then romped home to a 4-2 win with Tommy Walker and Adam Campbell completing the victory for a league and cup double.
Last year's 'A' Division champions Sperry made up for a disappointing season in which they finished as league runners-up when they lifted two titles. In the Trebles final Colin Whiley, Ernie Potter and Steve Mecrow defeated Labour Reds trio Steve Souter, Keith Shotter and Ty Coward 2-0. Whiley and Potter then defeated Tommy Walker and Terry Penfold of The Swan and Ian Moorey and Paul Harding from the Downsman to claim the Pairs competition.
The Singles competition saw Whiley defeated by the Royal Oak's Nick Edwards who checked out on 105 in the first leg and hit a crucial maximum in the deciding third leg. In the Final, Edwards beat The Imperial's Ron Webster 3-1, having lost the opening leg and again firing in a maximum. Earlier Webster beat Labour Rebels player Mick Kramer in the other Semi-Final. To round off the evening George Noble presented the awards and the league presented a cheque for £200 to the Brockham Ward at the Royal East Surrey Hospital.

Younger brother Owen Grantham then put the Labour Club in front before Ian Holman extended their lead to 4-2. The Reds fought back well with wins from Steve Souter and Tye Coward to level the match at four all. The final game was a cracker with PDC man Martin Burchell (Labour Reds) taking on Roffey super league player Rob Metcalfe (pictured) (Labour Club). Burchell took the opening leg before Metcalfe raced into a second leg lead. With Metcalfe (who had already hit a 180) sitting on double top after twelve darts, Burchell put immense pressure on the 19-year-old by hitting a 180 himself only to see the Sussex youth player step up and take out the leg on the next throw, After a scrappy start to the final leg the scores started flowing again with Metcalfe hitting another 180 to keep in touch. Burchell missed a golden chance of snapping up the game before Metcalfe took out a finish to give the Labour Club a surprising 5-4 victory. Royal Oak's Nick Edwards also recorded a maximum score as they won 8-1 at Plough Ifield B.
