Danny King Takes Summer League Singles Title

a field of 40 entries Greyhound's Danny King (pictured) won the Crawley
Summer League Singles competition held at Three Bridges Football Club beating
Rugby Club's Larry Kavanah 2-0 in the final. King made his way to the final with
wins against Graham Brook, Graeme Carden, Doug Mason and Mick Curren. Kavanah
beat Pete Crossley, Stan Jackson, Rob Metcalfe and Tye Coward. Six 180s were hit
on the night with one each from Tony Arnold, Mick Curren, Stan Jackson, Larry
Kavanah, Dave Mansell and John Nisbet. |
